A proposal for the redevelopment 4 - 6 St Edmund’s Terrace in Primrose Hill comprising 14 new apartments and a basement car park with 10 spaces that utilises the steep gradient of the site. Well-planned interior layouts are fundamental to this design, with a clear spatial diagram of living rooms facing the street, and sleeping areas facing the rear. Expressed stringcourses and ornate balconies give the building a distinctly residential feel, complementing the architecture of the surrounding streets.
The new building will be constructed from very high quality materials and be exemplary in its energy efficient design, incorporating passive solar shading and integrated photovoltaic panels on the roof.
